This figurine depicts the Hooded Figure Beast from the Temptation of Saint Anthony panel of the Isenheim Altarpiece, painted by Matthias Grünewald circa 1512–1515. The figure is rendered in a hooded red robe, carrying a three-pronged pitchfork. Talon feet, a coiling tail, hollow facial features, and a torn robe with a ragged dorsal opening are accurately reproduced from the original panel.
